The Go Industries Big Tex™ Grille Guard is unlike anything else available in the pickup truck aftermarket. The Big Tex grille guards have a unique design, heavy outside welds and a giant tube size that results in a stylish grille guard that won't bend, flex, or vibrate when in use. Choose from black grille guards or chrome grille guards. Most applications for the Go Industries Big Tex Grille Guard feature easy, no-drill, frame mount installation. The Big Tex Grille Guard is constructed of one-piece tubular frame using massive 1.9", 14-gauge steel. Heavy duty 11-gauge steel uprights offer maximum strength and a contoured fit as well as use of factory tow hooks. Each big tex brush guard application features heavy-duty rubber push pads. All applications are available in duplex nickel-chrome plating or black powder coat finish. Some Chevrolet & GMC Big Tex Grille Guards are available in "Low Profile" or "Over Headlight" designs. The chrome warranty offers 6 years protection and the black powder coat offers a 3-year warranty. Available for full size Chevy, Ford, Dodge, GMC and Toyota Trucks.

Grille guard looks great after I got it on. The problems were all before that, first the ring, or actual thing that wraps around the grille,was welded wrong and was crooked so I waited two weeks to get a new one, coustmer services was VERY nice and understanding. then once that was in, we went to put it on and the mounting bracket was numbers were stamped wrong so we switched them around. and put the grille guard on. This is a GREAT product, we just had a case of bad luck thats all. oh and if your installing chevy or gmc 88-98 on 1500 or any chevy gmc that style and you have the rubber bumpers on the front, youll have to take them off

Nice heavy duty guard that doesn't look like you just drove off the farm. Forget the useless instructions-just have plenty of patience and some help. I came up short two bolts. Kinda annoying considering the cost of the guard. Also be prepared to cut some plastic on the bottom of the bumper to accommodate the thing.

Looks nice with the guard, but I'm not sure how much it's going to protect anything. I little pricey for a couple of chrome wires.

Nice to have, especially if the truck is lifted. A little pricey for a piece of sheet metal. I needed to remount my front plate to accommodate it.

So far the quality of the guard appears top notch but, the mounting kit that is supposed to work with any 2008 Ford F-150 except the FX2 or
Harley Davidson edition is problematic for the King Ranch. We will have
to wait for better weather to see if we can get it resolved.

The Grill Guard looks nice but the installation instructions need to be reviewed. Measurement between upper brackets is wrong. Four bolts were replaced with studs and no mention in instructions. I had to add flat washers to space Grill Guard supports away from bumper. I also added lockwashers to each fastening part. They were not included with Grill Guard. I emailed this information to Go Industries and they never answered my email message. Very poor communication. Other than all of this I like the Grill Guard and the headlight protectors.

The "Big Tex" was the largest chrome one piece grill I could find. Quality is excelent. The large rugged design fits the scale of my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 and allows me to use the factory front tow rings. Installation was not hard but you need to keep all bolts lose for final fitting. The grille saver attaches to the bumper/frame directly and makes the unit rock solid. The 2" welded tube design is very beefy and just what my Ram 2500 Heavy Duty needs for the upcoming deer encounters on the back roads of PA.
