I ordered the "wavy: flag model, but was shipped the straight flag model.
Not wanting to go thru a return and resend project, I kept the one sent and installed it.
It really looks sharp and you don't see them on very many other vehicles.
It took a little while to install, but directions were clear and it was easy.

I ordered the wavy US Flag Patriot hood shield. It took 4 or 5 days to arrive and only about fifteen minutes to put it on. It fit perfect, even down to the holes where it matched the hood screw holes. I'm very pleased with the way it looks on the truck. I've placed RealTruck on my computer "favorite list" so I can go right to them when I need (or want) other items for my truck.

Our son, who is career Army, just returned from his second tour in Iraq. We purchashed the wavy flag bug deflector for his new truck. I was very disappointed with the Super Guard Hood shield Bug Deflector, although I wanted the flag design. I was unhappy with the width of the product. I feel this will not protect the hood of my vehicle from rock chips. It is labled as "Super" very deceiving!!!!! Because of it's little protection. Not PLEASED in Oregon, Mindy

Like it! I've had others that lasted only a short while. My kids are learning how to drive and 4 wheel...and somehow the other bug guards kind of self destruct around them. This guard doesn't stick out so far over the side of my hood (catching on bushes while backing in the brush) and it's stronger than any other guard I've used. It's even taken a tree head on when the brake "slipped". The colors haven't faded. Easy to install. Still looks like new.

Great sheild! Looks great. If I changed anything on this sheild I would make it a little lower. It sticks up above the hood farther than most deflectors.
