So far this product has worked very well.I have not used the cold front as of yet but, with the two openings in front it has to be better than the factory front. I worried about the fasteners coming off but, so far I have not had any. Very good product I would buy again!

Very good product. Was a life saver on those extremely cold days. Installation was a snap. No drilling or putting holes of any kind in your grill. Installation note: measure, measure again and then measure again. Once the snaps or in place they cannot be removed without ruining the adhesive.
My only negative comment is the manufacture could have included a couple extra snaps for safe keeping for that installation boo boo or that rough car wash.

I have added this combo to every truck I have. This makes 5 now. I always break at least 1 snap when I am installing them. This time due to the front grille guard I have I went with stainless steel snaps and screwed them to my grille. This truck has a metal grille instead of the usual plastic grille. It works great during the winter for keeping a diesel warm and during the summer the screen keeps the bugs out of the front end. Worth every penny and with Real truck shipping is quick. Thank you.

Purchased two of the Fia Winter Fronts for both of my Powerstrokes. One is a 97 F-350 and the other is an 03' Excursion. The Powerstroke has a warm-up valve that will close off to run the engine warmer during colder temperatures which decreases fuel mileage. I have already noticed the warm-up valve staying open and increased fuel mileage. I purchased screw on snaps, chrome and black, to match each truck for a secure fit. I would recommend the Fia Winterfront for all diesel owners.

the front for the winter is a mazeing so happy i got it as for shipping thats another story i order this on 12/18/09 didnt get it till 1/15/10 they told me it was on back order ill have it in a few weeks so not the story it shipped from fia which is in canada they got my address wrong and ups had a field day with me the winter grille guard is worth the money

Great product. Installed after being in a heated garage for around 5 hours. Cleaned grille with alcohol and heated up the snaps with an industrial heat shrink gun. 12 degrees out when I pulled truck out, and worked great. Washed truck 3 days later at a do it yourself car wash, and easy snaps stayed on and everything is fine. I live in Rochester NY, and so far it helps truck warm up and after sitting in a parking lot for 10-12 hours a night, makes it easier to start.

It was a little tricky ordering since I was from Canada. I did have it shipped to a U.S. address but still had problems with entering the U.S. charge card. Actually ended up with two orders for the same product. In the end it all worked out great. The grille cover was everything they said it was. I would order from them again.

The studs wouldn't stick to the grill, soI used stainless steel sheet metal screws to hold them.

The product itself is excellent. The only issue I had was that 3 of the buttons didn't stick to my grille and I ended up having to buy my own adhesive (super glue) to stick them on. It was pretty cold when I tried to intall them, so maybe that had an effect, but I imagine many people who do purchase this product will also be installing in the cold. Otherwise, absolutely no issues. Looks great, and my truck is warm about 5x faster than normal.

Easy to install and easy to remove for whatever reason(cleaning, going through car washes, etc...). I like the fact that it has ways to put some air through the grill when it warms up some, but winter is still upon us. The fit is not perfect, as on my 2008 Chevy Duramax 2500HD it bulges slightly on the outside but it still looks and works well. So much more convient than the factory supplied winter cover.

The cover is very nice, and fits exactly. However, you need to drill the snaps out and screw them into your grill. Don't waste your time with the stick on snaps included with the cover. They are junk. I very carefully followed the directions, and stuck them on. 2 days later when it snowed the whole works was laying on my driveway in front of the truck, including the snaps. I then screwed them into my grille, and it has been perfect ever since.

This is my third Winter & Bug Screen Combo. When I get a new truck, first thing I do is come to Real Truck and order one of these. Summer I use the screen to keep the bugs down and during the winter the cover helps to warm up my diesel quicker. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the plastic fasteners, I always break at least 1 during the install and so I learn to order the extra pack to have them on hand. Once installed, the fasteners hold up very well. I have been in tempertures ranging from 20 below zero to over 110 degrees. The cover always fit perfect and holds up very well. I ordered from Real Truck and a Friday morning and was installing it on the folowing Thursday and that is with regular shipping. Real Truck is quick to process an order and to ship it out.

Whenever I order a Screen I always order some extra fasteners. They are made from plastic and I seem to break at least 1 during the install. A good idea to have a few extras on hand.

Appears to be well made and was easy to install. It definitely makes the truck run consistently warmer. I've had the winterfront installed for about 2-3 weeks. I wish I had done this when I first bought the truck 4 years ago.

In the past, I have had problems with the adhesive snaps staying on when changing for winter front to the screen. I solved this by getting snaps from a fabric shop and attaching them to my truck with metal screws. Overall, the quality and fit was great. I am on my third winter front, and am very satisfied.

This product is exactly what I was looking for, it just took longer to ship than I had anticipated. Cold weather was coming (soon!) and it shipped after about 3 weeks. Self sticking snap hookup works wonderful. Make sure they are where you want them to be the first time, they do not come loose easily.

Cover was properly sized for my truck, and for the most part looks pretty good. The adhesive snap backs work only marginally well. Even after properly cleaning the surface some of the snaps would not stick. I am using super glue to hold the snaps that came off. I will be trying to find the screw snaps to replace them. Once on the truck it looks good and works fairly well. Product was what I expected after reading other reviews. I anticipated the problems with the snaps, but worth getting to help maintaing truck temps in cold weather.

The adhesive snaps would not adhere to my grill> I drilled them and used a screw which works fine. Other than that , no problem. Works fine, looks good.

it works very well..but i did use small bolts to install it and not the stick on tabs .the winter here is very bad and the wind up to 50 mph at times. so it holds a lot better.my truck has been a lot warmer and runs better also. it a little better for fuel.it the best buy and it works very well for my truck

Well manufactured product that serves its purpose well. I have a diesel truck and with all the below freezing temperatures of winter and constantly driving on the highway my truck would never really warm up enough and my fuel mileage went down considerably. After installation my fuel mileage returned to about the same as I was getting before winter.

Was not happy. After making sure the grill was warm to about 65 degres I placed the snaps on. They only lasted a week before they started coming off. I thought maybe it was just my luck but a friend bought the second grill cover and the same thing happened.
