This thing is HUGE! We just returned from a several day camping trip. We packed the camp chairs, sleeping bags, tents, and various other gear easily in the bag. It mounted quickly, and even kept things dry during a brief but drenching downpour. The zipper is a little flimsy, but as long as we were careful it closed nicely. We did not notice any shift during the drive, nor any flapping.
We did notice a small hole after returning home, and some of our gear was wet because of it. We patched it with duct tape; let's see how it does during the next trip.

Good water proofing, adequate space, poor quality zipper, broke on first use.
