Other than the plastic knob on the bottom, this is a great addition. I bought this for my FJ Cruiser as a steel "bumper". Last week I was rear-ended by a kid with no license and no insurance, pretty typical in the City of St. Louis, MO where 3 in 10 have no insurance. I was hit hard enough to completely destroy the step bar, but my vehicle was untouched. Since this idiot had no insurance, I bought another step bar and you'd never know I had been hit. The best accessory thus far I have purchased for my FJ. By the way, his Ford Exploder's front end was destroyed. Justice served.

My hitch step bar arrived in good time but was missing the anti rattle strap. A call to Go Rhino produced a promise they would mail me the missing part but so far no part. I guess I'll have to call again. Other than that, the product is great. I sacrificed my previous hitch step bar to a backing accident. Bar trashed...expensive bumper unhurt.

Great product but I ordered the chrome one not the powdercoated one.
I'm using the black one anyway because I didn't have time to reorder.
The black bumper was also very hard to put in the receiver. Just thought I would let you know. Thanks Rex Gustin

Very good product and very good service from RealTruck. Note if you are installing this Go Rhino Step Bar on a 2006 Toyota Tundra: If you also have installed (or plan to install) a "DEBO" Step, the Go Rhino Step Bar will interfere with the operation of the DEBO Step. The solution is to raise the level of the Go Rhino 2 inches above it's normal level when inserted into the hitch receiver. The DEBO Step will then be able to operate normally.

Could be made to fit better. When using the "stablizer" that is included the step looks crooked, without it, it just wobbles back and forth. Very nice item, but bad fit.

Realtruck service was outstanding as usual, but this is an inferior piece of equipment, with poor workmanship and inadequate design/materials. The bumper was welded crooked on to the receiver bar and the "anti-rattle device" is a throw-away. It does not match up to the quality of products we have purchased in the past and expected from Realtruck.

Let me tell ya, the Rhino Hitch Step is very well made. It has 3 option slots for your desire to get in and out of the bed of the truck, very easy to install. I hooked it up on the back of my truck and it really makes it look alot nicer. It also gives me added protection from mishaps like say I'm at a supermarket or mall shopping, and ya know there's always shopping carts left out in the parking lot, well who wants to come out and find a ding in their vehicle from a cart. Great product, heavy duty. I'd recommend this one.

Good solid step bar...installed on my 2006 Kia Sorento.

Pleased with the price, purchase and delivery. Exactly as described. First day installed I was lightly hit in step bar 3 times by 2 small cars (under 5 mph). No marks, not bent. Gauge of metal on the thin side, but very capable for a step and light bumper protection. Would purchase product again.

As much as its intended use was not to protect my new Ridgeline truck's rear end from the city bus, it served well and prevented perhaps thousands of dollars of damage. It was bent upwards with the impact when the city bus with 18" tall steel plate bumper ram into my truck from the rear while sitting at the red light. Yes, it does not need replacement but I was so pleased that I had this hitch step installed on the hitch receiver. It also served its primary purpose very well, by the way. I highly recommend it even if just to protect the bumper.
