I have to say the service from realtruck was extreamly good. I received bars from Aries and the box was destroyed and there was some damage on one bar and realtruck sent me a new set right away before i even sent the other ones back so i recomend them to anyone they are 5 stars sevice and customer satisfaction. As for the product Aries i dont give them a very high rating. I have bought two sets from them for two trucks and both time had to grind on them or bend the brackets to make them fit. When you get them you can see buy the box these are your cheap mexican or china stuff, so be ready to spend time to make them fit if you want to have them look good. After you get them all done and mounted i have to say they do look good and i do like how they hug the truck...

The bars are a great addition to my new '10 Silverado Crew Cab. The only negative feedback is the instructions for installation are lacking. For the average DIYer you can figure out how the brackets attach by a little trial and error. But it would have been much easier if the brackets were marked front, mid, and rear with a sticker.
Overall though I'm happy with the bars, the look, and the value from Real Truck.

Product looks great and easy installation only problem was one tube has a small dent from shipping, box was damaged, everything was packed well but stuff happens

installations instructions are horrible. Nerf bars have gooten comments from other drivers on the road. the questions those look cool, were did you get them.

These bars are good quality. Once mounted they are sturdy.They sit close to the truck. The instructions are a little vague but they get the job done.I had to buy some SAE washers to fit some of the bolts properly.That could just be me being picky.Looks liked they were made in Canada. Good job Canada.

Like others, the box was pretty tore-up on delivery. However, it was packed very well, so there was no visible damage. Besides the fact that it took a month to get the bars, I am very happy with them. They look great, and were extremely easy to install. If your looking for something different from just the straight nerf bar and you don't want the 90 degree turns of the traditional bars, then these are the ones you want. The slight 45 degree turn at the ends look great.

Aside from the poor installation instructions this was a good product. Having just installed a set of these they weren't difficult to install, took about 25 minutes with hand tools. Received product in just a few days and box was all beat up, but product inside box was well protected and no damage to nerf bars. LOOK GREAT on truck. Highly recommend Aries nerf bars and Real Truck. After trying to get same thing on flea-bay this was a rewarding experience.

When the shipment arrived the box looked like it went through a war zone. Although I was 100% confident they'd be damaged, suprisingly they weren't. It certainly wasn't due to the robust packaging since they were packed in only a thin plastic sleeve. It was pure luck.
Anyway, the bars went on with relative ease and they look great. Previous reviewers mentioned the poor instructions. This is true, the instructions stink. But if you're "smarter than a 5th grader" you could figure it out.

Product is a "5" out of 5 stars. Lost 1 star on overall rating for received washer, nut and bolt components not matching packaged component list; but everything worked.
Install took a little longer due to making sure every component would work before contacting manufacturer about discrepancy.
Totally satisfied!

This is the first set of Nerf bars that I have installed. They went on easy enough, however if the mounting brackets had been marked for location it would have been even easier. They look great and give the truck a more finished look. I would recommend these Nerf bars to anyone.

The Bars look great. I have installed step bars before. The instructions were horrible. there is some trial and error on which brackets go where. The Aries bars look great at a great price but really need some better instructions.

Wow!
The Nerf Bars arrived today. Had to study the instructions for a bit, but, then, they fit like a glove. Took about an hour or less to put them on. Couple of small nicks on the bottom but nothing a little paint won't fix. Mary at Real Truck was really great. They look awsome on my Tacoma. The only thing that would have made it look even better is if the 5/8 bolts on the bottom of the bars that attach to the brackets had been black. But, Hey, little bit more paint and perfect.
Thanks Realtruck. I will shop again.

The product is top notch and Im very happy with them. On the down side though, the directions were absolutely horrible. If you dont have previous experience installing these type bars, you will struggle to use the correct bolts and brackets. Installation would be much smoother without the trial and error to find which parts go where.
