Description

the bars fit good and realy look nice on the truck.
but it was a bit of a struggle geting the cab mount bolts loose.

I bought these for my Dodge Ram 3500. Initially I thought they looked greatout of the box, until I tried to install them. Bottom line is these do not fit the 2010 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty trucks. Because of the redesigned body of the truck, they do not work. There is barely enough room to get your foot on the bar because they do not hang low enough and they do not stick out far enough. I had to use two of the original screws because the rear brackets require longer screws than are included and if you follow the instructions, they will not work. They direct using spacers on the rear brackets but they are actually required on the front and middle just to get them to work but even then the bars press against the bottom of the truck. While the appearance out of the box is great, they look too small and flimsy on my 1 ton truck plus they are really not even functional. Buy another nerf bar!

Delivery was fast and in good condition. Installation was easy but the mounting brackets were for the left side. I reversed the brackets for the right side. It is not noticeable but does not seem right.

I had to replace one bar on my truck because of an accident. The new ones I got from RealTuck were identical in quality and appearance as the ones I got in 1998. I was very pleased as I know that, very often, newer items are not as well made as older items. I would highly recommend both the Bully Nerf Bars and RealTruck. Great product looks good on my truck. The only reason for a four rating was that the bolts were a different size than the instructions specified (18 and 19 sockets were used instead of the 14 the instructions called for). This was minor and everything installed easily.

Arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Priced affordable. Instructions were OK, but was able to figure out difference with my truck without too much difficulty. Product looks good on vehicle.
