Great nerf bars, easy to mount to my 2010 Tundra Crewmax. I think this is specific to my truck, or at least the year, but the steps did have a slight downward angle to them when I mounted them. I put an extra washer on the top of the bracket which straightened everything out. Still for the price I love them!

for the most part I like the way these bars look and they have made getting in and out of my 2010 Nissan Titan much easier for my 6 year old daughter. That being said there are a few things about them that I don't like. As others have mentioned the step pads slope outwards rather than being level this has resulted in several people slipping off the pads when trying to get in. The other issue is that the bars flex when you stand on them and I'm not a huge guy. At first I thought perhaps they needed to be re-tightened a little but all the nuts & bolts are snug. I have had other step bars in the past that didn't flex at all it doesn't appear to be a safety issues but it sure doesn't scream high quality or solid. They also sit a little lower than I expected which actually turned out to be a good thing with kids.
I may switch to a more snug fitting step at some point in the future.

While I must say the customer service with Real Truck was great, the product was not. I had high hopes after seeing these step bars on some other trucks, but, for whatever reason, they may not be designed for a 2005 Nissan Titan. After the hour installation process, they were not even close to level. Very disappointing. Real Truck was great about the return, however. i would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Disappointed with the steps because after only 2 months of use and 750 miles, the front end caps are pitted and rusting. The back end caps and the remainder of the bars still look great.

First let me say that I installed these on a 07 Dodge Mega Cab 2wd. I have received several compliments on how well they look. They are polished to a nice luster and do not have the plastic caps on the ends. The manufacturer decided to weld an end cap on this model which I believe to be a nice addition.
Fit and Function: The bars are easy to install and I feel the instructions were adequate. The bars may be low for people with shorter legs. I am tall with long legs so the height is good for me. My girlfriend is shorter and she needs to slide off the side of the seat to reach the bar when exiting the vehicle. Road clearance is adequate and they do add a nice touch to the truck. The bars are attached to the truck via TWO brackets which mount to the backside of the rocker panel and to the body mounts. These are on a Mega cab so they have the extra length. Only time will tell whether or not these will support the getting in and out of the vehicle.
Delivery: This is where I subtract a point. The box was demolished upon delivery. I thought I would find the bars severly damaged when I went to open the box but to my suprise the damage was minimal. Both bars had a slight dent on the bottom about mid point. I believe this is from something heavy being placed. I checked the bars and they were not bent so I decided to go ahead and mount them. I cannot see the dent and the minor scratches that were on the bars when they arrived.
To sum it up I feel the bars are a nice addition to any truck. Appearance, Fit and Function are great.

I ordered these for a friend's Toyota Tundra and helped him install them. They were really easy to install and look great. The guy who owns the truck is very happy and his Boss (aka, his Wife!) was very impressed and also very happy with them. The price was very good and free shipping via FedEx was very fast - they were shipped on Tuesday and I received them on Thursday - can't beat that! Easy to Install,lined up with the lines of the truck well, and they look great.One small dent opposite a mounting hole which I was able to remove most of it. After about two days I heard a noise which I thought was the front driver side suspension. After more investigation it was the front body bolt used in mounting the bracket. We loosened it,put a little axle grease in it, retightened it and problem cured. I do recomend this product.

At first I wasn't too happy with the fact that the step doesn't sit perfectly level. It slants away from the truck slightly. But after having these installed for 6 months I found that I really like them. It make the step easier to hit and I've never slipped off it when in a hurry... which would happen occasionally with the original steps I replaced. Installation was a snap... The only hitch was that one of the mounting studs snapped off, but after a quick trip to Home Depot to get a bolt, I drilled out the rest of the stud and slipped the bolt through and all was well... Would definitely buy these again.

I was very pleased with real truck, customer service was friendly and helpful. They beat another competitor price and delivery was fast. The product looks great much better than Dodge Ram original door to door tube. Installation instructions were not very clear, it took me about 1 hour for the first tube and half hour for the next one. I have had them for 6 months they clean up easily and look great. This is the only product I have bought from real truck.com but I will use them again.

This is a good product, and I really like the looks of the Oval Bar, but if I could change one thing I would like to have seen a better description of how many mounting points there are for my vehicle. I would have preferred at least 3 mounting points on each step instead of the 2 that are included. The picture on your website shows 3.
I am happy with the price and the prompt delivery, just a little disappointed about the mounting points of the bars.

The stainless steel steps look great on 2010 Ram 1500 Sport. RealTruck.com price was great, and very prompt shipment. Only items to point out are: 1)the T-bolts that fit into the rocker panel are about 2 threads too short. I had to flatten the lock washers a bit with a pliers and then was able to get the nut onto the T-bolt. 2) The holes on the tube support arms are a bit too close together and made it a struggle to thread the bolts through and into the steps without cross threading. Overall great product, clear instructions.

Tubes came in just a few days. Look great and I'm very satisfied with them. The Installation was a little tricky however, since the directions are kind of generic. I have a 2009 Ram Pickup and the body style is a little different then previous models. All I did was call Raptor up directly and one of the techs there sent me pictures of the install on a 2009 Ram. All I can say is that a picture is worth a thousand words. After I got the pictures I had them installed in about 1 hour.

These tube steps look great, are nicely finished, and install easily- all you need is an allen wrench and a socket driver (preferably with an extension bar). I took my time and I still finished in under 30 minutes. Anyone who is on the RealTruck website buying tube steps has the necessary skill to install these. The price is unbeatable and Real Truck shipped them out so quickly that I would have sworn they knew I was going to order them before I did. And above all else, they function- my wife had a hard time getting into my truck, but after I installed these steps she's had no problems at all. I will admit they took a little getting used to on my part since I had no difficulty getting in or out of the truck, but even I have come to appreciate the steps. Buy them and you won't be disappointed.

A very nice product. They look good on the truck and are very functional. The price was excellent, and the shipping and communication from Realtruck was outstanding. I gave four stars instead of five as the instructions were not clear for the support brace. Make sure your brackets do not rub near the bushings-I finished mine when it was getting dark and had to adjust the next day after hearing some strange noises.

Shipping was delayed by bad weather in the Central states, snow and ice - but they arrived quickly enough. Very easy to install, you just have to be careful with the captive nuts that slide into recesses in the truck-frame (F-150) that they clip-into. I waited for a non-rainy day and installed them myself in an hour and ten minutes, taking my time - it could have been faster but I didn't even need another set of hands. Everything bolted straight up. My wife is very happy, it's much easier for her to get into the truck now!

Very nice steps. Mounting was soooooo easy! Don't pay someone else to do this very simple install. All you need is a socket set and the allen wrench to fit one set of bolts. BTW, they don't install to the frame, they install under the body.
The only reason this gets a four star instead of 5 is because the bars are level to the ground when installed and not aligned or flush with the vehicles outline. I guess this is good for the factory Taco's, but if you are like me and adding a leveling kit then your bars are no longer level with the ground. There will be a slightly noticeable angle when looking at the steps from the side. If you do any Carpentry, Masonry or the like work and know what level looks like and are picky about it, then maybe you should consider another step assembly.
These steps are definitely worth the money, especially when compared to others and the install is so simple. If you're trying to decide on them, I say go for it.

The t-bolts could have been 2 threads longer to reduce the amount of frustration in trying to put the washer, lock washer and nut on. I stripped the last nut. Other than that they look great and allows the family to get in the truck easier.

I was very pleased with the appearance of the product. The tube steps were easy to install and sturdy under foot. The brackets used to attach the tube steps were heavy duty and easily mounted to the truck by removing 5 bolts per side and replacing with longer bolts supplied. Unlike a number of other tube steps that have plastic end caps secured by one screw on the back side of the step these have seamless welded stainless steel end caps that will never fall off or allow water to penetrate the tube like the plastic end caps. The brackets had a good coat of black paint and the mounting bolts were plated. One thing that was superior to other tube steps that I looked at were the fixed tapped hole inserts in the tube step to attach the steps to the mounting brackets. Others used a slotted track that hold nuts slid into that track, which to me seemed to be a lazy way to get the tube step mounting holes to line up with the bracket holes. Another thing I liked about the Raptor steps is that the mounting hardware is included. With the others you neeed to add the mounting hardware as a separate item that makes the total package pricier. My only suggestion for making the product better would be to offer an option for stainless steel brackets and mounting hardware . This would make the steps more costly but the mounting hardware would also be rustproof for states that salt the roads in the winter months. For the price, you can't beat these Raptor tube steps.

The shop had little trouble putting them on. In and out in around 30-40 minutes at the most. Cost to install was $30.00. Were some initial fitting issues with a bracket. It caused a grinding sound which was resolved. My only gripe is I wished the step was a couple of inches lower. Otherwise, the Raptors look good and are a tremendous value.

I like the running board itself because the ends don't have the plastic cap that could fall out at some point down the road. However I'm very dis-satisfied with the bracket's that mount them to the truck. the picture shows three bracket's and it only comes with two. you can also see the bolts in the bracket's.

These oval tubes were just what I wanted. The stainless was in good shape even though the box was almost destroyed. This is not the manf. fault. I did have a problem with the way they fit. The right side went on nice and smooth, and look great. The driver's side had a small problem. The middle mounting bracket won't move in enough to let the other brackets be even. The way the mounts are on my GMC Truck, the front bracket has to go in one spot and cannot be adjusted. This makes the middle and rear brackets only have little adjustment. So that left the step crooked. After a little modification, I reamed out the mounting bracket, It fit ok. Only took about an hour to mount without modifications. For the money I saved though, I will not complain. Got these instead of the Rommik bars, and saved nearly $250.
