Excellent customer service from Real Truck. Shipped fast. Was the correct product. For installation concerns - I agree the instructions leave alot to be desired, but don't fear the installation. The mounting points are obvious if you get under your truck. The brackets are stamped for Dr. and Ps. sides and Front/Middle/Rear, so you will know what side they belong. Hold the front and rear brackets up to the mounting points, it will be clear which way they go. For the middle support, this also only has one practical way to go if you think about it while under truck. Bottom line - I like the product, they look great, and installation is not bad. I would recommend Real Truck and the product.

Believe it or not, I ordered my bars on a Tuesday afternoon and they were at my house when I got home from work on Wednesday. The bars look great. They went on easy and in very little time. The only concern I had was that the instructions directed you to install the brackets a certain direction and the pictures showed the same, but the factory stampings (LF/RF) must have been done wrong. I installed as the directions and pictures showed and no problem. Pricing was another reason I purchased from RealTruck.

These look great on my Silverado 08 crew cab. The install was bit tricky, doing it by myself. If you buy these, make sure you keep all bolts loose before tightening. It was easy once I did this and installed the center support bolt first. The first bar took about 30 min of struggling, but the second was a snap after bolting everything loosely and the tightening it all up.

Bought the DeeZee 4" Oval (Stainless Steel) Side Step Nerf Bars for a Dodge Ram 2500 to replace 3" round bars as my wife has knee and back issues and these provide much better footing for her. I only wanted bars that curved completely under the cab as I like how they look verses the crappy straight or slightly bent and plastic end caps nerf bars. The only other manufacture of this type of bar (4" oval) is Back Country and they only have them in chrome. Install was easy and they look great!

Look nice once installed, but installation and DeeZee quality control are VERY poor. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Megacab and ordered them for such. However, the instructions DO NOT match the parts they send you. They do not send you enough nylon washers (b/n bracket and cab). Additionally the center support bracket is NOT a Drill-free installation. Each bar was on the appropriate side (step pads lined up for entry), but the center support bracket did not have a factory drilled slot to put the installation bolt through. The closest one was over 2 inches away (no matter which way I adjusted the main brackets). I had to DRILL the cab at the proper spot and use a flexible grasping tool the "snake" the mounting bolt into place.
The installation was easier once I had all the parts (front/rear mounting brackets missing in first shipment). I called DeeZee per the instructions once I found several of the mounting parts were missing. They said it would take 3 weeks to get the missing hardware. I called RealTruck and to their credit they shipped out another complete set to my house and issued me a return order (no cost to me) for the other one. The original box was demolished in shipping. With the combination of the two boxes, I had all the hardware I needed. This was a pain, but they look good on the truck.
