Description

Curt trailer hitches for pickup trucks and SUV's are available for your towing and pulling needs. Curt hitch offers class III trailer hitches for towing. These trailer hitches have a GTW 10,000 WD / 6,000 WC (round tube styles: GTW 6,000 WD / 5,000 WC). Each trailer hitch features ever-gloss powder coat finish, open back end design, Pro S collar, robotic welding and a weather tight construction. Most trailer hitches come with a built-in step pad for easier access into the bed of the truck without pulling down the tailgate. Curt class III trailer hitches are available in the traditional square tube design, select models are also available in a round tube design.

CURT Manufacturing Incorporated shall not be liable for the loss of or use of vehicles, cost of removal and /or installation, loss of time, inconvenience, rental of vehicles, loss or damage to personal property, expenses such as telephone, lodging, gasoline, towing, or any incidental or consequential damages. Easy clear instructions. Bolted up nicely into my 2004 Durango. Solid construction, painted inside and out so it won't rust. Looks great and no need to trim the rear bumper fascia.

Hello people!
I,d like to share with you my review. Curt 2" Trailer Hitch - Class III (CU-13300) Round Tube Design .I have a 2002 Chevy blazer s-10.
The install went well about 3/4 of an hour. This was without torches,
breaker bars or drills, however I used an air ratchet to speed things up a bit. I also use ati-seize on all threads.
Timely delivery, great looking finish. Welds look like they were done by a machine,tubes are airtight. I would recommend this unit to anyone,
especially after the time and effort I spent on research.

I still have not put this on my Jeep so my review will not be as helpful. What I can say is that it is the cheapest, without sacrificing quality, class three hitch for a Wrangler. I shopped around and looked at a few models from others whom have them and this one was unanimously the winner. Once again, I almost returned this and Realtruck honored that decision but I ended up keeping it.

The Curt Hitch that I ordered was one I received with-in three days of the order being place (big supprise).The installation was said to take about 45 minutes.I am a good mechanic but I have large hands and it took about 1 Hour .The springs they give you to guide the bolts through the rail helped, but I did not remove the muffler hangers. The space behind the hangers is tight but just go slow and it can be done.Realtruck.com will see me again

Tacoma 2008 DoubleCab.
Great solid hitch. One star comes off from the hitch not being perfectly aligned.
The flanges/wings came bent slightly inwards, which prevented the hitch from mounting around the frame rails. Called Curt Tech Support, and they instructed me to cut a two by four to length and spread the flanges using an automotive jack. This worked well. One warning is to spread and then re-measure frequently.
Installation was a one-man job. Two clamps held the hitch in place till I could bolt it in.
It looks great, seamless integration, highly recommended.

The product was received just as described and fit the truck as designed. The written documents didn't describe that the mounting bolts were packed inside the receiver. I ran around to parts / harware stores getting the bolts and washers needed -- and after the hitch was installed and the final protective wrap was removed -- we found the mounting bolts. Other tan that -- we will buy from "RealTruck" again.

Hitch works great and was easy to install. Requires two holes to be drilled in the frame and the other two use the bolt holes from the bumper. We installed it in about 30-40 minutes. The 2" square receiver is nice as it fits all standard hitch fittings. I have been pulling around a 5x8 trailer with my ranger and both the truck and hitch work great.

Receiver hitch appears to be well constructed. Installation instructions require interpretation. Would be better if instructions suggested a tool or technique to enlarge frame rail holes - enlarging with a drill may not be appropriate. I used a rotary file installed in a drill. Clever use of the included fish wire, although how to use it may not be very apparent to some people. The brackets that attach to the frame rail required me to spread them apart to line up with the frame rail holes for attaching. Installation is far more tha 30 minutes as described in instatllation instructions.

one arm of the hitch did not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the frame, after bending the arm a few millimeters, it fit like a charm. shipping was fast and the item arrived with no apparent damage. overall a good shopping experience.

I liked the heavy construction and thick paint coating. The hitch required modification to mount to frame rails and was not a quick install. The reciever tube was a little too long and stuck out past the bumper just far enough to walk into. With these changes, it now works very well on my 1985 1/2 ton 4x4.

the order was shipped before the date it was due here and that was surpising. and plus it was easy to install on my truck.

Nice Hitch. Much better then the "bumper" hitch GM puts on the truck. Instilation instructions could be better.
