The Bak running boards include slip resistance safety skid pads and a rugged aluminum structure. They are made in 4 sizes to fit virtually any vehicle. Vehicle specific mounting bracket kits are available and sold separately. These customized mounting brackets ensure a perfect fit and a weight capacity of 500 lbs. Bak boards are sold in pairs. Bak Running Boards Optional Light Kit is available and sold separately.

The BAK running boards are ok but BAK does not make their own mounting bracker kit and instead gets it from Sharp Boards. The mounting bracket kit contains the installation instructions which are the worst that I've ever seen and are useless. I've had no end of problems with the bracket kit because half the kit is for the wrong vehicle. If I have to rely on the Sharp Board bracket kit I will not buy BAK running Boards again

The installation instructions and pictures were terrible! Two of the brackets are almost the same (just different number of holes in one end). The brackets are not numbered so you do not know where they go. It took a lot of trial and lots of errors to get the first running board mounted. It took me close to 1-1/2 hours. After I had it figured out it only took me 20 minutes to install the other one. The holes and hardware matched up perfectly when you have the right bracket in the correct place. They really need to improve the installation instructions.

I did not buy the light kits. The running boards fit well and look good except the way they finished off the openings where the light kits go. It really is cheap and looks funny.

Missing one set (1/2) of bolts that attached the running board to the the brackets.,, but made my own.
You need a lift to get this done on your own in a timely manner (3-4 hours)

when I finally got them on they look good.
BUT allow for 5 hr install. Missing 1/2 set of bolts that attached board to brackets. Had to cut of one end to keep my factory tahoe mudflaps on front without having tire rub in back because these are way too long (4 inches too much). My expectations weren't too high because I bought the cheapest product available at the cheapest price available, so after P.I.A. install, they look pretty good.
Having a lift to walk under install will save your life and cut time in 1/2, luckilly I did.
Shipping great, arrived neat and as promised. Product is cheapo.

Very nice product-
However the installation instructions were written by a computer geek that had never seen the under side of pickup. Nothing matched- had to improvise and buy regular automitive bolts/lags at local dealer to attach properly!

Difficult to get installed. Some comapnies wont install with universal brackets. Light kit has short wires, and will fracture during installation onto running board.
