My husband found out that my Dad had asked for a set of vent visors for Father's Day so he requested I also order a set for our new F250. They were so easy to install and look terrific. They will help a lot to keep the heat vented while the truck is sitting out on the pipeline in the hot summer heat. Also, AVS offers a great warranty. These are a waste of money. Knowing what I do now, I would pay extra for the Weather Tech brand. They do not stick well, as the tape has to adhere to the inside "felt- faced" rubber strip in your door. The right rear one does not fit properly and the window will not go back up without hitting it and getting stuck. Two of the other three also hit, but they will close. I will have to file the right rear one to get the window to close. In Channel vents look better, but these are not made well at all.

What can I say about AVS Vent Visors, either the Inchannel type, like I bought, and installed this time, or the exterior, tape on type that I've bought, in the past. It's very difficult to improve on the "best" visors available, on the market. I've been buying them for my new pickup trucks for years, and years, now, and only once, did I ever have a problem with one, and that vent visor was a victim of Hurricane Ivan's well-over 100 mph winds, that must have picked something up and blew it into my left rear window, on my 2002 Nissan Titan QuadCab, and broke the visor in two! After I contacted AVS, about what happened, not only did they replace that vent visor, free of charge, but they
also paid the shipping, to boot!!! As for these latest inchannel vent visors, after I ordered them, I installed them, on my 2010 Nissan Frontier 4x4, within a total of 48 hours. Talk about some very quick shipping! I am one very happy camper..... Thanx, RealTruck.....

I like the visors however please note that due to them being "in channel" occasionally causes the windows to auto down about 3" on the 04 Titan not a major problem but something that AVS should address or at least note on the package

The deflectors are constantly getting caught with the windows. Their method of installation does not hold the deflector in place. I am removing them from my rear windows because I never know when they are going to slip out of place. If you only buy them for the front windows they may work okay are at least are not a pain in the butt to fix.

The rear windows catch when they are closed due to the in-channel nature of the design, but I think its better than the ugly style that stick to and ruin paint. If filed to angle, these work just fine. Another complaint is that the name is branded into the plastic, which will have to be smoothed out if you would like have them painted.

These things are a great(and cheap) add-on that surprisingly increases the aesthetic value, as well as the functionality of this car. They are very easy to install and require no experience to do it (about 5 minutes of prep for each window channel(for cleaning) and about 1-2 minutes of installation time on each window)It should be noted that for best adhesion, you should do it on a time when you wont roll your windows down at all for 2-3 days for maximum "stay power" which you will need for those days where you want to "open it up" on the highway. I have had my truck over 110 mph with windows down and they didnt budge. They are pretty durable, even though it says you cant drive them through the carwash, i have done it on both my 2010 honda civic, and my 2005 dodge ram numerous times (more than 10 times a piece)w/o incident. They are great for the days when it rains out and you still wish to have that nice flow of fresh air into the vehicle.They also eliminated the "helicopter effect" that used to occur on my dodge ram when all four windows were down by altering the airflow. Anyone who owns a dodge ram knows exactly what im talking about. Its a very annoying acoustic sound as well as creating pressure differences in your vehicle that can actually hurt your ears. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to add an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-install, part with a purpose to their vehicles.

these vent visors are the way to go. in-channel much cleaner look than other types. had a little bit of distortion on the lower drivers side visor by the side mirror. the plastic kept getting caught when i'd roll up my window. i solved the problem with a little heat and some manipulating, works great

These vent shades are perfect for in-channel applications! Easy install, clean appearance and they do their job! I've used this since 1996 and it's a great assessory for any vehicle owner. AVS did a slight change in the most recent model purchase in that they added more 3M adhesive tape to increase the security of the vent-visors installation. However, they also changed the design (slightly) which creates a vacuum behind the side mirrors, causing an air passage that comes into the vehicle as opposed to pulling air out. If you're a smoker, this means that ashes "flicked" out a partially open window will get sucked right back into your vehicle, most likely in your face.
"Real Truck" sellers were good. Communications were found wanting but I chalked that up to buying the vent-visors right around the holidays. After about 5 days I got an email that my order was recieved. A day later I recieved an email that my item was going to be shipped. Item arrived within 2 days after shipping notification. All around perfect transaction.

I have a 2009 GMC Sierra crew cab. I read online about people having trouble installing the vent visors because the front visors were in the way of the window. Well, I thought if I followed directions closely, I wouldn't have that problem, but I did. It seems that the front visors turn in slightly at the front tip so that when the window is raised, the window will hit the visor dead center and break it if you aren't paying attention. I have contacted RealTruck and waiting to see if the factory will replace the visors with one that will work or if they know of a fix. on the good side, they look great on my truck and would be an easy install if not for the tilted in defect!

Besides having to trim the front visors at the front they fit perfectly. They are a whole lot better than the ones that stick to the paint, because I had those and in removing them, they took paint. Great product!!!!

Worst product I've ever purchased. The package arrived and 2 vents were cracked. Install was easy, too easy, not a snug fit, didn't allow my window to roll up. Should have been tape at the ends of the vents. Very poor, I would not recommend them to anyone. I took them off and threw them away. I'll try again - very disappointed.

Parts arrived with small scuffs/scratches in them. Intentions were to paint them anyway so it's a moot point in my case. They were inside original manufacturer packaging, so it could be an anomoly.

I was really happy with the purchase of this product. With so many brands out there I really searched around for the best price but didn't want to compromise quality. The AVS inchannel is the way to go. Installation was a breeze and they stay put. You just have to make sure the channel is clean where the double sided tape is going to stick on. The alcohol pads that is provided will take care of that. There is a minor rub on the drivers front, but absolutely no big deal. I had a VW jetta with weathertech visors on and it did the same thing, but at twice the cost! Overall Good Price. Good Quality. Good fit. Good Buy!

THe way the manufacturer packaged these products together caused them to rub against each other in the shipping process. This caused the surfaces of the products to be scratched before I even opened them. On top of that, the material is so thin and brittle that one of the visors was found to be cracked upon opening.

This was my first experience with the in-channel window visors. I had the old style on my last truck. The in-channel visors look so much better because they look like they came from the factory. They have the same effectiveness as the style that sticks on your paint. They are actually easier to install. I read a few reviews that said the window scraped as they went up. This is FALSE! If you install them correctly, they do NOT scrape. I love them and highly recommend them.
As for RealTruck, they provided excellent service. I erroneously ordered the wrong visors and didn't realize it until I had cut them out of the package. I called RealTruck right away. They said NO PROBLEM. I received the return authorization via email, sent the visors back and the correct ones showed up at my door a few days later. Great Service. I will continue doing business with RealTruck. I have shopped around and have not been able to beat their prices either. Thanks.

I purchased these for my son. He had the old style (stick on the paint) on his 1999 Dodge 2500. He removed the old visors and installed the new in-channel visors. What a difference! They were easy to install and actually add to the appearance of the vehicle rather than detract. RealTruck provided great service and speedy delivery.

We have always had vent shades on every one of our vehicles, and not having them on our new '08 Chevrolet Malibu was very difficult to get use to.
We had been told since day one that they did not make vent shades for the new body style. We were almost ready to give up until we came across the website of "RealTruck". This is a very nice product and looks great on my 2006 F150 Super Crew. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it affects the way the window goes up when it's just about to close. It's like the window wants to go up another 1/8th of an inch but can't because of the tight fit with the in channel vent visor. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and would still recommend the product.

Great product! I am a total fan of the in channel vent deflectors. They look so much better than the ones that stick to the outside of the door and they are easy to install (it took me about 5 minutes and part of that was opening the package up). I highly recommend them to anyone who needs deflectors.

Very nice looking. ecspecially on my black vehicle. whats nice is you can lower the window a little while it is raining and nothing gets wet. Keeps the windows from fogging up while raining instead of using the defrosters all the time. I would recommend these to my freinds.

The text doesn't explain well but these visors fit in the window channel with tape on the outside of the visor lip. Dry fit a couple times then remove protective tape, put in window channel and pull towards outside of truck, roll up window and let dry. Gives very finished apperance. would buy again.

The product appearance was what I expected to see but when it came to the installation, the problems began. In the directions you are told to "test fit" the product prior to installation...good idea. Especially since I had to use my Dremel tool to shave the edges of the product in order for it to sit correctly in the window channel. I like the product for it's purpose but did not care for it's installation issue (even as minor as it is).

Product is good and fits fine, however on the rear deflectors, one of the double face tape strips on each one is on the side of the glass and without that strip the deflector falls out of place. I have to buy double face tape to replace the whole thing, reapply the tape and reinstall the deflectors.

A waste of $60, first they didn't fit exactly right so I had to cut both visor's. They wounldn't stay in place at the front of the window, down by the side mirror. So when try to force it into place one of them broke, so they are both in the trash. Thanks a lot.

The in-channel side window vents were exactly what I wanted. I called the RealTruck info number to make sure I was getting the product that fit my truck and they made sure it was the correct choice. I did have one small incident when installing the front 2 vents. There is a tongue on the forward portion of the driver's and passenger's front pieces that needs to tuck between the channel that is forward of the window opening. If you don't get into that channel the tongue will be forced out into the channel used by the window itself and you will know it the first time you roll the window up as it will contact it and makes a loud popping sound when rolling up. It is easy to fix and caused no harm as I simply put the tongue into the correct forward channel and the windows operate freely wtih no problem. This small bit of caution is not in the instructions and should be. Other than that the install was easy. Hope this helps someone.

Very good look for the truck. Easy to install. Important that you follow the instructions & let the adhesive strips set for 24hrs with the windows closed or else the visor will come loose in the heat & prevent the window from closing completely (if it doesn't completely fall out of the channel). Does not eliminate the wind noise when the window is vented as some customers claim, only changes how the noise sounds. All that said, this product is an excellent value for the money compared to all the other choices.

Just made available for the new body style '08 Malibu. Looks great on car, easy to install (in channel). Material is very brittle and requires care that the channels are not flexed too much as they would "snap". One of mine arrived broken but was immediately replaced with no hassle. Great company!

This product is easy to install (in-channel) and does exactly what it professes to do. It shades the sun coming in from the side windows AND when it is raining, you can leave the windows down partially and no rain gets into the car. The smoke grey looks good on my car, but does also on most cars. The VentShade is very durable. I am very pleased with this product.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this product. The plastic that the product was made of was very thin and had bubbles in the plastic from the manufacturing process. Glad I chose not to install them anyway.
