I have not installed the bed extender yet; it is a Christmas gift for my husband. It looks nice. The item was shipped in its own box and arrived with a large hole in it. I don't know if any small pieces fell out or not. The item was charged to my credit card and did not ship after three weeks; I had to call and get it shipped again. Hopefully it will be a good product and be worth it. The customer service lady at Real Truck was very friendly and the price was good. Mistakes happen, I would certainly buy from them again.

Looks real nice in our truck. Thought it was the type that flips over when I ordered it and ahd to do some modifying by cuting the tubes shorter to fit. But it's ok.

Would prefer metal parts over plastic, especially for truck parts that will require heavy duty use. But overall, seems to be a good product.

The extender looks great and is very adaptable to width and depth into the bed. The pins to retain the extender fit perfectly, they must have re engineered based onn the other review about the plastic breaking around the pin and the need to bore out the hole by 1/16 inch.
I wish it had come with more screws to replace more set screws, and my kit did not have the allen wrench that the instructions said came with it for the set screws. I have bought one for a friend, so obviously I would tell you to purchase one for yourself.

Fairly easy to put together. However, I wish the rails that attach to the bed were not plastic. I cracked one side already pulling out the hitch pins because the holes are too small. I redrilled them and opened them up about 1/32 of an inch so the pins would slide easier, which worked.
