	HI-2005200 - Highland Car Top Bar Style Carrier Posted By: Brian M. (New Hartford) on 06/2008 I bought this rack to carry my 9.5' kayak on either of my vehicles. On the Honda Civic I mounted it to the interior of the door jam which seemed the most secure. The problem was it let all the rain in because it deformed the door weatherstripping. I am less than comfortable with it mounted to the outside trim and will probably not use it that way for highway travel. I have yet to get it to mount to my Mazda MPV. :( Overall it is a quality piece of equipment but it is far from "Universal Fit" in my experience.
